By promoting the re-naturalization of the built environment through sustainable construction systems, the BIG4LIFE project aims to promote the building sector’s transition towards a more sustainable, circular, toxic-free, energy-efficient and climate-resilient model, in addition considering the restoration and improvement of life quality.

The BIG4LIFE project will contribute to the New European Bauhaus initiative through the reduction of environmental impacts of new and refurbished buildings, the creation of circular value chains to boost urban economies whilst producing urban and territorial regeneration, as well as enhancing citizen’s well-being and supporting biodiversity in the urban environment.

The BIG4LIFE project will contribute with multiple deliverables that will be a global reference for future designs and for the improvement in maintenance management and monitoring throughout the useful life of Building-Integrated Greenery systems.
